I RAN A SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN
FOR A
POLITICIAN!

THIS OCTOBER, my brother Sam and I began a 2 month campaign for Mark Duffys' social media. We organised, filmed, edited and distributed every day for 2 months as Mark ran for a seat in the Irish Government, the Dáil.

REAL REELS

Day in, day out - we created a reel for the campaign. Here’s some of our favourite moments and lessons we learned along the way.

Photos, Photos, PHOTOS!

My Photography skills came in to particular use across the campaign. By Scheduling posts, I was able to convey a sense of continoual interaction with all types of people, businesses, communities, towns.

That's a reach of 89% non-followers!

This 90-second legacy video blended canvassing, drone shots of Mayo, interviews, media clips, and music into a cinematic, emotional piece. Short and impactful, it taught me to trust my cuts and prioritize storytelling over holding onto every shot.

Mark finished the Election race strong, with only a few hundred votes away from the finish line. As a first time runner for the Dáil, we were super proud to have spread Marks' message to both young and old across County Mayo.
